RMRR Trophy Race - Stone House Park

The RMRR Trophy Series Race was a 2.4 mile run held at Stone House Park. I was grouped with the fastest male of the day. The first mile was crazy!! I couldn't keep up...I had to slow down. The first mile was 5:15. That was super fast. I was running with 2 fast runners. My second mile was 6:09. Not very even. I remember this race from last year and I had terrible cramps. Not so bad this year!!

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your comment in my blog. I love riders too.

I see that you are coming close to your Ironman. Must be fun taper times.

As for the cramps on your two miler, if it ain't cramping, you ain't running hard enough :).

At some point in my life, I wouldn't mind even getting with a minute of that kind of pace for more than a couple of hundred meters!

Nicely done!

I just got back from the Ironman 70.3 Switzerland and I have been following your blog for a while. Looking at the milage you have put in you must be in great shape. What is your goal for the ironman? Is that your first? I wanna attack that distance next season.

Wow, 5:15 is smokin, esp. up in that thin air. Glad it went better this year for you.
